Die ProPotsdam GmbH ist das kommunale Wohnungsunternehmen der Landeshauptstadt Potsdam und führender Dienstleister in den Bereichen Stadtsanierung, Stadtentwicklung, Wohnungsbau und Wohnfürsorge. Mit einem Bestand von über 17.000 Mietwohnungen ist sie gleichzeitig der größte Wohnungsanbieter auf dem Potsdamer Wohnungsmarkt. Die ProPotsdam vereinigt unter ihrem Dach 12 Tochtergesellschaften. Neben der Verwaltung und Bewirtschaftung des großen Immobilienbestandes besorgt sie die Geschäfte des Entwicklungsträgers Bornstedter Feld und des Sanierungsträgers Potsdam, betreibt im Auftrag der Landeshauptstadt den Volkspark Potsdam, den Neuen Lustgarten und die Biosphäre Potsdam. Außerdem wurde die ProPotsdam mit dem Tourismusmarketing für die Landeshauptstadt Potsdam betraut. Die ProPotsdam befasst sich im Auftrag der Landeshauptstadt mit der Entwicklung des Areals auf dem ehemaligen Kasernengelände Krampnitz sowie der des Luftschiffhafens mit seinem Sportpark und dem Olympiastützpunkt. Die strategische Ausrichtung der ProPotsdam orientiert sich an einer „Nachhaltigen Stadtentwicklung“ und sucht die Balance zwischen ökologischen, ökonomischen und sozialen Zielsetzungen, um sich langfristig für die Landeshauptstadt zu engagieren.
ProPotsdam GmbH is the municipal housing association of the state capital of Potsdam and the leading service provider in the areas of urban rehabilitation, urban development, housing construction and housing assistance. With an inventory in excess of 17,000 rental apartments, ProPotsdam GmbH is also the largest housing provider on the residential housing market in Potsdam. ProPotsdam unites a total of 12 subsidiaries under its roof. In addition to the administration and management of the large real estate inventory, ProPotsdam manages the business of the development agency Entwicklungsträger Bornstedter Feld and of the redevelopment agency Sanierungsträger Potsdam while also operating Volkspark Potsdam, Neuer Lustgarten and Biosphäre Potsdam on behalf of the city. Furthermore, ProPotsdam was commissioned with the task of tourism marketing for the capital of the state of Brandenburg. On behalf of the city, ProPotsdam is engaged in the development of the terrain on the former barrack grounds Krampnitz and of the Luftschiffhafen sports park with the Olympic center. The strategic alignment of ProPotsdam is modeled after a “sustainable urban development” and strives for the balance between ecological, economic and social objectives in order to engage in commitment to the city long-term.
