We reimagined our hotels as boundary-blurring spaces where students, travellers, mobile professionals, creative nomads, enterprising minds could connect in well-designed co-living and co-working spaces. This is now fast becoming Europe’s biggest hybrid accommodation for students, hotel guests and professionals, our Complete Connected Community. TSH co-living and co-working business model provides a unique hybrid destination for a fast-growing international community.
The developer, investor and operator has 4,400 rooms in 12 locations including: Dresden, Florence, Rotterdam, Amsterdam (two locations: City and West), The Hague, Groningen, Eindhoven, Maastricht, Paris, and two TSH Campus sites in Barcelona - student-only residences. At the end of 2018 TSH expects to have 10,726 rooms: 4,400 rooms operational and 6,326 secured or under development. TSH Bologna, Madrid and Berlin open in 2019. Florence Belfiore, Paris, Porto, Rome, Delft and Vienna open in 2020. Carcavelos Lisbon, Toulouse, Florence Manifattura Tabacchi and Barcelona will open in 2021. TSH plans to have 65 properties operational, under construction or planned in European cities in the next five years.
TSH was founded by Scottish entrepreneur Charlie MacGregor in Amsterdam. The company’s roots lay in Scotland where the MacGregor family started building student accommodation for The University of Edinburgh in 1982.
Student Hotel Berlin (17,100 m2) will be located on the Alexanderstrasse and will have 475 rooms. TSH Berlin is next to the iconic Alexanderplatz, right in the heart of the city’s Mitte district. With direct connections to local public transport and beyond, it’s easy to get to and from the complex.

TSH Florence is shortlisted for the @MIPIM Awards for best mixed-use development. Selected from 200 entries from 58 countries. A micro-city for local and global talent in an old palazzo. The winner will be chosen by the judges along with MIPIM delegates in Cannes and announced on March 15th. The finalists will be announced during the MIPIM Awards Ceremony on Thursday evening 14th, starting at 18.30.
